Plenty of locksmith sites say 24/7. This one does not, because it would not be true, and finding that out at eleven at night is worse than knowing now.
Seven days a week, 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Outside those hours, response is limited and we tell you on the phone rather than after you have waited.
Inside business hours, a lockout in the metro is normally handled the same day and usually within the morning or afternoon you called in. C&R is owner operated, so the person answering is the person driving out, which means the estimate you are given on the call is the one that holds when the van arrives.
Outside those hours you reach an answering service and we call back. Sometimes we can come out. Sometimes the honest answer is first thing in the morning. You will get whichever of those two is true, not a maybe designed to keep you from calling somebody else.
One thing worth knowing before you call anyone: a phone quote far below everyone else, from a company that will not give a license number, is the oldest pattern in this trade. The price triples once the drill comes out. We wrote up the warning signs in full.

Three steps, in this order, every time. The order is not a formality.
We Confirm You Belong There
Before a single tool comes out, we establish that you have the right to enter. A lease, a utility bill in the business name, ID matching the paperwork, or a manager who can vouch on the phone. Any locksmith who skips this step will skip it for the next person too, and that person might be opening your door.
Non Destructive First
The goal is opening the lock without damaging it, and on most commercial hardware that is achievable. Drilling is a last resort, not an opening move. If we do reach that point you will know before it happens and you will know what the replacement costs.
Then We Fix the Cause
Getting in is half the job. A cylinder that seized, a closer that has failed, a key worn past working, or a frame that shifted in the heat will all do it again. We tell you which one it was and what it takes to stop the repeat.

Very few of these are somebody being careless. Most are hardware telling you it has had enough.
Key Snapped in the Lock
Usually a worn key that has been forced for months. The broken half comes out and the cylinder is checked for damage.
Cylinder Seized
Grit, wear or a cheap cylinder past its life. The key turns halfway and stops, or turns and does nothing.
Frame Shifted in the Heat
Oklahoma summers move door frames on older buildings. The bolt stops meeting the strike and the door binds.
Keys Locked Inside
The door closed behind somebody with the keys on the counter. Simple, common, and quick to resolve.
Nobody Has a Key

The address and the door
Which entrance, front or rear, and whether it is glass, metal or timber. That decides which hardware comes off the van and saves a second trip.
Proof you are authorised
ID plus something linking you to the business, such as a lease, a utility bill or a manager who can confirm it by phone. Have it ready and nothing slows down on arrival.
What the lock is doing
Key turns and nothing happens, key will not go in, key snapped, or door will not budge though it is unlocked. Those are four different jobs and knowing which one changes the estimate.
Whether anyone is inside
If a person or an animal is shut in, say so immediately. That changes the priority of the call and, if there is any risk to someone, the right first call is 911 rather than a locksmith.

No, and we would rather say that plainly than have you find out at midnight. C&R is available seven days a week from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Outside those hours response is limited. Call and you will be told honestly whether we can come out tonight or whether first thing tomorrow is the real answer.
Will you damage my lock getting in?
The aim is always to open it without damage, and on most commercial hardware that is achievable. Drilling is a last resort rather than a first move. Where it becomes necessary, because of the hardware type or the condition it is in, you are told before it happens and given the replacement cost up front.
What do I need to prove it is my business?
Photo ID plus something tying you to the premises, such as a lease, a utility bill in the business name, or a manager or owner who can confirm it by phone. This is not bureaucracy. A locksmith who opens doors without checking is a locksmith who will open yours for somebody else.
How much does a lockout cost?
It depends on the door, the hardware and the distance, which is why you get a number on the phone before anyone is dispatched rather than a range. That quoted number is what appears on the invoice. Should a business rekey after a lockout?
Not usually, if it was simply keys locked inside or a mechanical failure. It is worth doing when the lockout followed a tampering attempt, when the missing key is unaccounted for, or when you no longer know how many keys exist. See commercial rekeying.
My keypad is dead. Is that a lockout?
Yes, and it is more common than people expect, usually flat batteries or a controller that failed after a power event. It is also the reason we push for a mechanical key override on at least one door during any access control install, because it turns an emergency into an inconvenience.
