Who we are

This website is operated by C&R Locksmith, trading as Commercial & Residential Locksmith, a locksmith business based in Edmond, Oklahoma and serving the Oklahoma City metro. We are a mobile service business, so we do not publish a street address. You can reach us on (405) 696-0875 or at info@cnrlocksmith.com.

This policy covers this website. It does not cover other websites you may reach from links here, which have their own policies.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the quote request form, we receive what you entered. That is your name, phone number, service address, city, ZIP code, an email address if you provided one, and whatever you wrote in the message field.

If you call or email us instead, we hold whatever you tell us in that conversation for the same purpose.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, this one is served by a web host that keeps standard server logs. Those typically include your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and the time of the request. This is ordinary technical record keeping rather than an attempt to identify you.

The website also uses cookies for basic functionality, including remembering whether you have already been shown the quote request popup so that it does not reappear repeatedly, and for the performance caching that makes pages load quickly.

What we do not collect

• We do not take payments through this website, so no card or bank details are entered here.
• We do not run advertising or retargeting trackers on this site.
• We do not ask for or want your Social Security number, date of birth, or any government identification through this website. Identity verification happens in person, at the job, and we do not retain copies of your documents.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote.
• To carry out work you have asked us to do, and to reach you about it.
• To keep a record of work performed at a property, including keys issued, which is what allows us to help you properly on a future visit.
• To meet record keeping and licensing obligations that apply to a licensed Oklahoma locksmith.

By submitting the form you are agreeing that we may contact you by phone, text message or email about that request. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. A small number of service providers necessarily process data as part of running the website:

• Our web host, which stores the website and its server logs.
• Our email provider, which delivers form submissions to us.
• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on this site. Loading a font from Google means your browser contacts Google's servers, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
• Trustindex, which displays our Google reviews on the homepage. That widget is loaded from Trustindex's servers and is subject to their own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept only as long as they are useful for following up, and we clear them out periodically. Records of completed work, including invoices and key records, are kept longer, because a key record is what lets us tell you in three years how many keys were cut for your building. Tax and business records are kept for the periods required of any business.

Your choices

• Ask what we hold. Email us and we will tell you.
• Ask us to correct it. If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
• Ask us to delete it. We will, except where we are required to keep something for tax, legal or licensing reasons, in which case we will say so.
• Opt out of contact. Tell us by phone, text or email and we will stop contacting you.
• Control cookies. Your browser can block or delete cookies. Some parts of the site may behave differently if you do.
